ROND̉ IN B MINOR
This piece, composed, if I remember rightly, around about 1982, has been conceived as the final one of a sonata for violin and piano, whose second movement had to be the fantasia in A major, while I completed the first one only in May 2004.
The character is romantic but, I would say, not excessively demanding (as it is suitable, after all, to a rondò); to notice the use, as secondary theme, of that of the fantasia in A major. In the other themes the characteristic presence of the interval of augmented second can be observed (harmonic minor scale), almost a pale memory of my works on the scales with the fourth altered degree
