NOCTURNE IN G# MINOR

In this piece I wanted to immortalize a moment of nostalgia felt just after the state examination of 2003, that marked the end of a cycle of instruction of 3 years and of a professional, but inevitably also human relationship: a part of own life that ends.
The composition is in fact a romance (exposition, development and reprise or repetition of the theme), more than a nocturne; the name of this piece derives more from its character, perhaps a little twilight, than from formal aspect. Moreover, even if in the first measures tou can noticed some tonal indetermination that remember Skriabin, at the end of the exposition, and still more in the reprise, the tonality click to know more about musical scales of G# minor is clearly asserted, though between frequent modulations click to know more about modulation (than however appear as temporary) and alterations more or less daring.
