THE FLOWING OF TIME

This piece for four hands piano date back to 1979, before the beginning of my studies of composition. I have imagined the ticking of a clock, that inexorably scans the flowing of time that flies. At times in background, distracted as we are from other thoughts, other times in more evident and dramatic way, every instant that passes approaches us to that fundamental passage that is the death, forcing us to reformulate our values, looking for Something that gives meaning to our existences inside and over this event.
I would say that the character of this piece, perfectly tonal, is enough classical, despite some trills that remind us of Chopin.
